My current research interests are oriented towards human-computer interaction (HCI) and co-located multi-users systems (e.g. interactive tabletops, public displays, and proximity-based technologies).
My research focuses on designing technologies that can enhance collaborative group activities. To this end, I’m interested in exploring group dynamics that happens when people interact with technology, applying this knowledge to the creation of tools that enhance creativity, collaboration, and interaction.
My doctoral research comprised an empirical inquiry into the potential of combining sensing technologies and ubiquitous display for socially-motivated purposes, such as promoting civic participation and enhancing creativity in groups.
My research interests include also the design and evaluation of educational tools for students with special educational needs for promoting learning and encouraging reading.
